Sherri Hill Media Campaign 2019

In my JOUR 3700 class, PR & Advertising Writing, we were assigned a final project instead of having a final exam. The final exam was very similar to the midterm, however for this assignment we had to choose a company instead of a local event and create a media campaign for the company.

I chose Sherri Hill for many reasons. The first being that I had recently applied for a creative intern position at the headquarters in Austin, TX. The second being that the company itself has such a strong message for women of all kinds. The brand focuses on female empowerment which is such an important topic that is getting more and more recognition. 

​

For this assignment, I decided to focus on Sherri Hill at NYFW. We were given the option to come up with a campaign specific to our preferences and the company we chose. Since Sherri Hill is already very interactive on social media platforms with audience members, I decided to promote a volunteer program. Volunteers for this program would ultimately apply by clicking on a URL provided on the digital advertisement I created. 

 

Although the campaign isn't real, I was challenged by this project because I had to come up with a campaign unique to this company. Under the Sherri's Team Media Campaign tab, you can find the several aspects that tie in my final project for my JOUR 3700 class.
